In South Park: The Fractured But Whole, costumes are purely cosmetic (i.e. does not directly affect stats / upgraded in any way) compared to the costumes in South Park: The Stick of Truth. However, in some exceptional cases, they can affect the battle (Morgan Freeman serves as an example).

Collecting Costumes will boost the "Outfitter" title inside the Character Sheet app, providing rewards to the toy chest once the title rank has been reached.
